Getting around

There’s something a little different about our website – just like there’s something a little different about us. To move around the site, use the main navigation above and then move sideways through the content by clicking the arrow buttons on the side of your screen.

Not just for mice

You can click the arrow buttons on the sides of the screen to move left or right – but there’s an even better way: use the arrow keys on your keyboard. Not only does this save your wrist, it lets you focus on the content.

Once you reach the end of a section, press the right arrow key again to load up the next section. The H key will take you home.

Whistler Athletes’ Village

Global Sustainability

The Athletes’ Village at Whistler, B.C., provided DEC with an opportunity to demonstrate to the world its low-temperature District Energy Sharing System. The Village, enclosing 85,000 square metres and housing 2,200 persons, is one of the first closed-loop systems in the world powered by treated wastewater effluent.
